August in the Orange Region

And so we finally entered the last month of winter and the first signs of spring time starts to fill in some of the gaps in the Boissy Bed and Breakfast garden! The daffodils and snowdrops are coming out and very soon we will start to see the beautiful magnolia flowers throughout the streets of Orange. During these winter months we have all enjoyed  getting rugged up around our wood fire, sharing a bottle of red or port with some of our favourite friends and guests.Daffodils Boissy

Needless to say, we have also spent wonderful times at some at some of our favourite local Orange cellar doors and restaurants, like De Salis, Word of Mouth, Brangayne, Charred and Fiorini’s.

We are almost ready for the next Orange Wine Festival, promising two weeks of events and activities highlighting the region’s premium wines. Come and join us for a plethora of events to keep wine connoisseurs and aficionados entertained, and celebrate our great local produce.

Orange is being hailed as the new Bordeaux of NSW – the wine area on everyone’s lips! Great reward for our very passionate local winemakers, only rivaled by restaurants that can compete with the finest in our largest capital cities.
At Boissy’s Bed ad Breakfast we have limited spaces left for the wine week, so don’t miss out – BOOK NOW!

For those that miss out during Wine Week, Orange offers great activities during the rest of the year as well. We would love to share our knowledge of local wines and produce with you, so come and pay us a visit.
